Pankaj scripts KCC’s 30 runs win in T20 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT KATHUA, Dec 15: Powered by Pankaj’s four-wicket haul, Kashmir Cricket Club (KCC) Jammu registered 30 runs win over Britiney Cricket Club (BCC) Pathankot in the ongoing DySP Manjit Singh Memorial Twenty20 Cricket Tournament at Sports Stadium here today. Pankaj claimed four wickets for just seven runs in 3.3 overs. He was later adjudged man of the match. The cash prize was awarded by Surinder Singh, president Contractor Association. Earlier, batting first after winning the toss, KCC set a target of 118 runs losing all their wickets. Later, Britiney failed to attain the goal and bowled out for 87 runs in 16.3 overs. Chamkor Singh was main contributor with 33 runs while Rahul Choudhary remained unbeaten at 27. From Britiney Club, Britiney was most successful bowler with two for eight in four overs. Shotu also bowled well and took three wickets giving away 36 runs while Aman bagged two wickets. Batting second, Britiney Club bowled out for 87 runs in 16.3 overs. Ankur was top scorer with 18 runs, followed by Shiva and Shotu, who made 15 and 16 runs respectively. Pankaj was pic of the bowers with four wickets for just seven runs in 3.3 overs he bowled. Shandeep Choudhary bagged three wickets.
