Early Times Report
KATHUA, Dec 15: West Pakistani Refugee Action Committee (WPRAC) today warned the state government to face dire consequences if their long pending demand for right of permanent citizenship of Jammu and Kashmir is not addressed in a stipulated time.
This was stated by state president of the committee Labha Ram Gandhi in the monthly meeting of WPRAC at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park here today. President said that west Pakistani refugees have been suffering right from 1947 till date but various state and union governments came and went with assurance of giving permanent citizenship to people of Jammu and Kashmir. He said that now the refugees action committee has left no other option to come on roads and streets in the favour of our demands and will go up to any kind of extreme line for the sake of our right.
