| Training programme concludes | | | EARLY TIMES report
Jammu, Dec 15: To upgrade the sports skills of the community coaches of Jammu and to conduct sports & games competitions at district / state levels for the disabled under the scheme of sports & games for persons with disabilities launched by Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, the training programme in this regard concluded today
In the valedictory function the chief guest Commissioner Secretary Science, Technology and Information M. K. Dwivedi termed this Special Training Program to conduct Games & Sports for the Disabled as turning point for the Special Athletes i.e. Persons with Disabilities of the State as J & K state has great hidden potential which needs to be explored through medium of sports and the special athletecis.
In his welcome & keynote address State President Special Olympics Bharat - J & K Ashvini ,Jojra made appeal to all the sections of the to make every citizen well aware of the Sports & Games of Disabled and Special Olympics Bharat to make it a people movement.
