| Tributes paid to Sharma | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Dec 15: In order to pay a rich tribute to the founder member Lt. Dr. J.R. Sharma, Sarswati Sangeet Kala Mandir organized as musical programme at Abhinav theatre, Jammu.
The programme commenced with lightening of ceremonial lamp followed by a release of folk songs book which was donated by Pradhuman Singh, a prominent folk singer.
Gulchain Singh Charak ex minister and Zaffar Iqbal Manhas Secretary of the Academy presided over the function.
A beautiful musical programme composed by Ravi Sharma was presented on the occasion. This programme was also included dances choreographed by Rakesh Kona and Shashi Sharma.
The participants were the students of Sarswati Sangeet Kala Mandir. Vote of thanks was delivered by Vijay Atri who also conducted the proceedings of the programme.
