12/15/2010 11:10:33 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu Dec 15: All J and K Unemployed ITI Electrician Association on Wednesday accused the state government of backtracking from its promises.
Addressing media persons here, the president of the association, Rakesh Sharma said that the government had instructed the unemployed ITI Electricians to submit their testimonials to Advisor to Chief Minister, Mubarak Gul.
“Despite having submitted all the requisite documents to him and despite lapse of more than a year nothing ahd been done by the government to concede our demands,” he alleged.
He maintained that the Chief Minister had made an announcement that 43,000 posts would be created and first priority would be given to the unemployed ITI electricians but again nothing had been done in this regard.
Sharma warned that if necessary steps are not taken by the government for adjusting all unemployed ITI electricians they would be left with no other alternative but to adopt agitational path.
Prominent among others who were present in the press conference include Sunil Bali, Mohammad Ashraf, Swaran Lal, Mukesh Raina, Raj Kumar and Vimal Sharma.
