| Mohd Sporting wins by 4 wkts in T20 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA, Dec 16: Mohamdan Sporting Club Jammu defeated Esteem Cricket Club Kathua by four wickets to move into the next round of ongoing DySP Manjit Singh Memorial Twenty20 Cricket Tournament at Sports Stadium, here today.
Batting first after winning the toss, Esteem Club bowled out for 117 runs in 19.8 overs. Vinod was main scorer among batsmen with 36 runs while highest 41 runs came through extras.
Later, in reply, Mohd Sporting chased the target making 119 runs in 16 overs for the loss of six wickets. Magotra was top scorer with 26 runs.
For his all round performance of 26 runs and one wicket, Magotra was declared man of the match.
