| Lecturers hail education minister’s announcement | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Dec 16: All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers’ Forum has welcomed the
announcement of the Minister for School Education, Peerzada Mohammad
Sayeed for regularization of all incharge incumbents in School
Education Department within a month.
The central executive of the forum which met at Jammu under the
chairmanship of its state president, H D Qureshi has appreciated the
announcement of the minister to get the clearance of regularization of
about 7000 incharge incumbents from state cabinet in accordance with
the decision already taken by the cabinet under the chairmanship of
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on March 29, 2010.
Qureshi congratulated the minister for taking the issue of
regularization in the state cabinet to get clearance in the month of
December and termed it as a “new year’s gift” for the community which
had been facing the agony of inchargism since 1998 onwards.
He appreciated the efforts for supply of uniform to the students
studying in government institution, besides the construction of
Laboratories for the Institutions at senior secondary level.
Others who spoke on the occasion included Charan Dass and Manmeet
Bali, both vice presidents, N S Jamwal, general secretary, Ashwani
Sharma, chief organiser, B.D Sharma, district president Jammu and
others.
