| JMC clears 55 building permission cases | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Dec 15: Under the chairmanship of S.C Sawhney Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Jammu, a meeting of Building Operation Controlling Authority was held today and the building permission cases were examined.
In the meeting 55 building permission cases were cleared.
The building permissions cases cleared today shall generate revenue of Rs. 8.00 lacs for Jammu Municipal Corporation.
Besides this, the enforcement staff of Jammu Municipal Corporation led by Sh. Satish Khajuria Chief Enforcement Officer alongwith police force continued the drive against the unauthorized constructions / removal of encroachments in the areas of Greater Kailash, Jeevan Nagar, Trikuta Nagar Extension and took various actions that include the demolishing a Shop, temprarary structure at Greatre Kailsah and trikuta mnagar which were being raised in violation of the building plan approved for residential purpose at Greater Kaliash, Jammu.
The Municipal Veterinary Officer alongwith field staff also conducted drive against the adulteration of milk and visited the areas of Shakti Nagar, Rajpura, Gujjar Nagar, Nai Basti, Satwari etc. During the drive 89 milk cans were checked out of which 2 cans which were of sub-standard quality were destroyed. The team also visited the areas of Narwal, Channi, Trikuta Nagar and seized the unstamped meat being sold in the market.
