| Academy organises Hussaini mushaira | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 16: In order to pay tributes to martyrs of Karbala, Academy of Art, Culture and Languages organised a Hussaini mushaira at KL Sehgal Hall here.
Mushaira was presided over by Bashir Ahmad Khateeb. In all twenty three poets of note participated in the poetry recital. Prominent among those who participated in the mushaira included Arsh Sebbai, Betab Jaipuri, Prem Nath Shad, Khurshid Kazmi, Aseer Kishtwari and Moti Lal Masroof among others.
Proceedings of the function were conducted by chief editor Gojri, Dr. Javaid Rahi who also supervised the poetry recital. Welcome address was presented by additional secretary, Cultural Academy, Shamima Akhter
