BJP believes in ‘Ek Nishan, Ek Vidhan’: Khajuria
12/17/2010 7:56:44 AM
EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 16:
National Conference (NC) and Awami National Conference (ANC) are indulging in blame game against Bharatiya Janta Party and nationalist forces, who always stood for the unity and integrity of the country, senior BJP leader and MLA Ashok Khajuria said.
In a press statement issued here today, Ashok Khajuria said that the statements of NC leader Dr Mustafa Kamal and ANC leader Khalida Shah raising objections over his remarks on state flag are an attempt to divert attention from the core issue of nationalism.
“I firmly stood on my remarks…. BJP always believe in ‘Ek Nishan, Ek Vidhan’ for the state of Jammu Kashmir and to achieve this goal our leaders have sacrificed their lives…. Shri Shyama Prasad Mukherjee laid down his life for this cause and we will carry forward the movement.” Khajuria said
“BJP will not let this happen and would not remain silent until and unless it achieves its objective…. We will fight tooth and nail for the abrogation of Article 370 which is a major road block in complete unification of the state with that of Union of India.” he added
Khajuria said that the anti-national forces are ruling the roost in the state but it is a pity that the present dispensation has failed to check their free movement.
“It is now an open secret that the anti-national elements are funded by the people like Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani but surprisingly the state government is watching all this as a mute spectator” Ashok Khajuria said.
Launching a scathing attack on the NC-Congress combine, the BJP leader said that both these parties whenever entered into a tie up brought miseries for the people of the state.
