Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 12: Senior leader of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and MLA Reasi Choudhary Sukhnadan has strongly condemned government oppression over Early Times newspaper.
In a statement issued here today, Sukhnadan has said that government should desist from curbing freedom guaranteed by the constitution of India to media. He added that government attitude is dictorial, pathetic and unreasoned. “I am pained to hear that Early Times is being harassed for speaking truth and unveiling barbaric face of the present dispensation led by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah. I condemn this government attitude,” added Sukhnadan
He went to the extent of saying that if the government continues to harass Early Times; things are like to go from Bad to Worst. “We would effectively raise the voice against this injustice both within and outside the state. This has to stop at the earliest. Otherwise, we would be compelled to take up the issue with Prime Minister Dr.Manmohan Singh,” added Sukhnadan.
