Bodhi regrets govt attitude towards Early Times | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 16: Jammu and Kashmir is passing through a critical phase of the history and so is Early Times newspaper also. Ironically, in both the cases, it is the democratically elected government led by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah which is the culprit. This was stated by MLA Raipur-Domana Bharat Bhushan Bodhi in a statement issued here today. He expressed deep regret over the attitude of state government towards Early Times newspaper. “I am unable to understand why government is hell bent upon demolishing and destroying every other democratic institution in Jammu and Kashmir,” added Bharat. He stressed that harassment of media which is already working under difficult circumstances speaks in volumes about how bad the situation is. “I am fully conscious of the manner in which Early Times is being harassed since the last few months for speaking truth and pointing towards the wrongs both in political and administrative circles. Government should have complimented Early Times for its bold and effective reporting but it has acted otherwise,” maintained Bharat.
