12/17/2010 8:19:05 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Dec 17: Jammu University Research Scholar Forum (JURSF) has urged that SSRB to extend the date of reciept of application forms for the 5000+ posts advertised recently in the larger interests of the aspiring candidates.
“Since this is an opportunity for young educated students we request the chairman of SSRB to extend the date of receipt of forms by a month at least as the results of various P.G.courses are still pending”, said Suresh Magotra, Presidnet of the Forum adding that it will submit memorandum to the Chairman tomorrow on behalf of Students community.
JURSF has demanded that results of all P.G 4th semesters and B.Ed of this Session should be declared as soon as possible.
According to the status the results should be declare within 45 days and it is exceeding 2 months now, he said, adding “We show our full faith on the controller of examination of the campus as some of the results have been declared yesterday….. we welcome this and hope that the students of this session would be benefited by the jobs advertised recently.
In a statement, he said the interlocutors Jammu visit seems an eyewash at least for the students of Jammu province as they are clubbing the core issue of the Kashmir problem with the Jammu problems.
Jammu region is facing problems due to centre and state politics and the Centre is indifferent towards Jammu region . “We demand that they must share and publish their agenda and circulate it before meeting people so that we come to know for what they are here…..”, he said adding that Centre must clear its stand for discrimination with Jammu and favouritism with Kashmir.
The Forum has also extended support to Physiotherapists who are protesting for along time in the winter capital in support of their demands
