| Dial 1098 If you find any child in distress | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Dec 18: Childline Jammu in collaboration with Education Department today organized a special programme to highlight the problems of poor children in distress and also distributed prizes among the winners of recently concluded Inter Zone Painting Competition organized by ChildLine at Apna Van, Sure Chak.
Director School Education G. A. Qureshi was the Chief Guest and State Secretary IRCS Jammu and Kashmir Feroz Ahmad presided over the function. Dignitaries from different organizations and prominent figures from all walks of life also graced the function which was oragnised at Apna Van near Government Middle School, Surechak, Phalayan Mandal, Nikki Tawi route.
Director School Education said there is great need to protect the rights of children and create awareness in the society adding that the NGOs and public should come forward for this social cause.
He appreciated the students for their performance who participated in various cultural items.
He also distributed prizes and certificates among the winners and runners of the Inter zone painting completion.
