| Release pending arrears of SFC employees : EJAC | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 18: A meeting of J&K Government Employees Joint Action Committee held wherein the negative attitude of the Managing Director State Forest Corporation, Jammu thoroughly discussed.
The meeting was convened under the Presidentship of Jaswant Singh Provincial President of EJAC (K) in which
The State Government has ordered the conversion of COLA into DA and release of arrears thereof to the employees of the State Forest Corporation. The present Managing Director, State Forest Corporation is harassing the innocent employees for one or the other reason as he has freezed their pending arrears which are in crores.
In the meeting, the participants decided to bring the negative attitude of the concerned Managing Director to the notice of the State Government particularly in the notice of the Cabinet Sib-Committee.
The agreement was carried out between the leadership of the Joint Consultative Committee and Cabinet Sub-Committee for conversion of COLA in to DA. The arrears of the employees of the State Forest Corporation should be released immediately without delay to avoid state wide strike of the State Forest Corporation employees. The J&K Government Employees Joint Action Committee fully support the protest demonstration of the State Forest Corporation employees and request to the concerned functionaries particularly to Managing Director State Forest Corporation to release the pending arrears of the employees to avoid any complicacy.
