| WAS Giri …. Or IS state govt a threat to society? | | | Was Rakesh Kumar alias Giri, who got eliminated by police under suspicious circumstances near Satyam Resorts on November 21, really a threat to the society or the present day state government, which is harassing Early Times on one pretext or the other, is more dangerous with its anti-democratic policies.
It is now a known fact that the Early Times newspaper over the last few years has become the bold and fearless voice all sections of society .The newspaper right from its inception till date has always tried its best to project the aspirations of the people of entire state in an unbiased manner, highlighting truth and only truth. And this is perhaps the only reason that it is being targeted by the present regime.
Not only the Information department has stopped the flow of advertisements to Early Times but the official machinery is also being blatantly used to pursue the sinister game plan of the present dispensation against other sister concerns of the newspaper.
We seek opinion of the general public that whether they consider the official witch hunting against Early Times appropriate or not ?
Is the vindictive attitude of the government against Early Times is not a murder of the democratic rights enshrined by the constitution?
