| JU calendar for admission violated | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Dec 19: JYF has taken a strong note of the violation of calendar made for Jammu University by private college affiliated with JU.
Sandeep Singh Chib, president JYF said that where university has made compulsory for all colleges affiliated with Jammu University to be bound to follow university calendar for the admission and conduct of exams, one of the college affiliated with Jammu University for carrying out PG courses is doing admissions in off season for MA English.
He said that where admission session is closed how the University is allowing the colleges to go for admissions in off season.
He also said that that this all is happening in the regime of Vice Chancellor Jammu University.
He further said that Vice Chancellor's silence over the matter shows that he too is involved into the matter.
JYF appealed Chancellor and Pro Vice Chancellor to hold an inquiry into the matter and also to ask for justification from Vice Chancellor Jammu University that why there is silence over the matter and why the admissions are going in the off seasons.
Among those who were present in the press conference included, Kapil Sharma, Sachin and Vinod Gupta.
