| Physiotherapists protest ‘deaf-dumb’ govt in unique way | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 19: Continuing with their day and night dharna, the members of Jammu Kashmir Physiotherapist Association (JKPA) today again adopted a unique way of protest against the non-responsive government.
They protested against the ‘deaf and dumb’ government here today in front of Old Divisional Commissioner’s office, Mubarak Mandi by bringing bells, Alarms Clocks, Cups, Plates, Spoons and other empty utensils which they used to produce loud sounds and noise.
Members of JKPA raised slogans against the state Government and also in favour of their demands. They affirmed that they are going to achieve their goals despite government’s reluctance.
They roamed in the entire Mubarak Mandi Complex for more than 2 hours, making the ear-deafening noises. They said they are doing this to awaken the sleeping government and its paralytic system because they are behaving as total immune & resistant to the Public woes & worries. May be this endeavors of theirs could cause any feeble voice of common man to reach their deafened ears.
The leaders added that tomorrow they will arrange a Physiotherapy Treatment Camp for General Public charging Re 1 per treatment sessions in front of Old Divisional Commissioner’s office, Mubark Mandi. They appealed to the Genral Public to come in large numbers to take the advantage of this treatment sessions, which should be made available by and is responsibility of Government.
They added that they are left with no choice as other working committee members are also suffering from deep depression.
