State’s greatest ailment is corruption: AJKMPJ | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Dec 19: All J&K Movement for Peace and Justice has said that the greatest ailment the state is suffering is from allround corruption which is eating into the vitals of the society like a termite. Even the political problems of which the interlocutors are required to suggest a solution are closely related to the problem of corruption. Those who have been and are earning huge amounts of easy money by unfair means and living lavishly are inculcating a hunger for more and more money among the members of the whole society. The corrupt mentality is spreading with a force greater than that of an epidemic. It will not be an exaggeration if we call it a highly infections disease, spreading from high ups to the lower levels. So the interlocutors are requested to suggest to the authorities, the strike against corruption at high places- ministers, bureaucrats, big business houses and so on, as the first important measure for making any political or social process meaningful and effective. In absence of such measures, all other exercises will turn out to be futile. All J&K Movement for Peace and Justice” (an amalgam of many social organization) is an organization which is working with the social mission. The members of the organization, include S. Deep Singh, Om Parkash Rao, GS Charak, Om Raj Bhall, KK Rao, RL Raina, MA Magrey who have also appealed the general public to field candidates for coming panchayat and municipal elections from among the dedicated youth with tested moral character and not from the political parties and support them whole heartedly irrespective of their caste, creed and social status.
