| Induction of minority community’s member demanded | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Dec 19: Kisan Mazdoor Union, district Doda, has appealed Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi to induct minister in the cabinet from minority community from district Doda
“For the last so many years, having no public representative (MLA, MLC) from the minority community, there is a feeling of being deprived of their genuine right. So, Prime Minister & UPA chairperson, Sonia Gandhi is strongly urged to consider the matter seriously and sympathetically and induct MLC Naresh Gupta at least as a minister of state into the ministry,” said its president Yog Raj Sharma.
The public of minority community of district Doda whose population is more than 45%, thanked the UPA government that after independence a MLC is nominated from minority community from district Doda.
They demanded that MLC, Naresh Gupta be inducted in the ministry to represent the 45% population of minority community of district Doda.
