| ABMSS holds working committee meeting | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 19: A meeting of the working committee of Akhil Bhartiya Mahajan Shiromani Sabha (ABMSS), New Delhi held here today.
The meeting was organized by J&K Zone of Akhil Bhartiya Mahajan Shiromani Sabha
The function started by lightning of traditional lamp by the dignitaries and Patron of Akhil Bhartiya Mahajan Shiromani Sabha . It was followed by recitation of Gayatri Mantra.
A beautiful and impressive cultural Programme was presented by Jeevan Sharma and party.
The dignitaries Vinay Mitter Mahajan President Akhil Bhartiya Mahajan Shiromani Sabha Romesh Gupta General Secretary (ABM.S.S), Jangi Lal Gupta Sr. Vice President (AB.M.S.S), Om Parkash Gupta Vice Chairman Mahajan Bhawan Hari Dwar were honoured with a memento and shawl by Jugal Mahajan, Bal Krishan Gupta Zonal president, Kundan Lal Gupta and Vijay Kumar Gupta Patron.
Following luminaries of Jammu and Kashmir were also felicitated keeping in their service to the community.
In next proceedings of the meeting Romesh Gupta General Secretary ABMSS presented minutes of the previous meeting held at Kapurthala, which was approved by the house.
He threw light on enhancing the room at Haridwar from 150 to 166 and addition of 16 AC rooms. He also informed the house, persons visiting Haridwar should contact for reservation of rooms to Zonal president J&K Zone.
He also desired if any sabha from JandK wanting to get publish their proceedings of the meetings/ function in Mahajan Samachar must send in the office of A.B.M.S.S Delhi. He also appealed the community members to become the life member of the Mahajan Samachar.
Vinay Mitter Mahajan President ABMSS informed that for the Mahajan Engineering College, the Sabha has purchased about 160 kanals of land at Udhampur Dhar Road near 1 Km distance of Shahpur Kandi and payment of Rs. Fifty lakh have to be made for the land.
