| Mankotia gets start Samble-Lower Gandalla road work | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
UDHAMPUR, Dec 19: MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia get started the work of road from Samble to Lower Gandalla under PMGSY Scheme here today.
The estimated cost of the road project up to first phase is Rs 2.10 Crore and the length of the road is 4.50 KM which will benefit near about fifteen hundred souls.
While addressing the gathering at Samble, Mankotia assured that the land compensation will be given to those whose land is coming under this road project.
He directed the revenue authorities to clear all those land compensation cases at the earliest, he further directed the PHE authorities to immediate restore the water supply of samble area. He also assured the public that half km road stretch leading to upper samble area will be black topped before April 2011.
In another function at Namble of village Jib, the MLA inaugurated the road from Jib to Namble which come at an estimated cost of Rs 30.00lLakh with one and half km length which will benefit about hundred families.
