| Sangharsh delegation calls on Interlocutors | | | EARLY T IMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 19: The delegation of Sangarash- A Movement for Justice, Equality, Peace, Prosperity and Brotherhood- met the team of Interlocutors, who at present are on the tour to twin border districts of Rajouri-Poonch.
The delegation under the leadership of its Chairman Vikrant Sharma sought their attention towards the various development points.
Interacting with the team the activists of Sangarsh raise that the area as is most important from the defence and the strategic point of view for the Indian state and witnessed all the wars insurgency militancy and instability but remained firm with the nationalist view point territorial Integrity and Indian sovereignty but is being neglected in the roadways of development so this twin boarder districts area must be considered under Special Economic Zone.
They said that as Rajouri is known as the “District of lakes“ and Poonch is known for its eternal beauties as the area has enormous potential to become as the international tourist centers. In order to develop these centers must announce Rs 200 cr packages for this area.
They also stressed on the enhancement of communication and transport facilities, creation of railways tracks upto Rajouri in first phase and upto Poonch in second besides this they alsodemanded that air bus should be started as it was once running in the area.
In its written memorandum to one of the member of Interlocutors the movemnt also stressed on the establishment of two district councils one for Rajouri and another for Poonch, to accelerate the growth and to minimize the feeling of discontent and alienation
