Govt wants to suppress voice of Early Times: RM | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Dec 19:Rashtrawadi Morcha (RM) today condemned the State Information Department’s unhealthy attitude to suppress the voice of Early Times Newspaper by withholding the advertisements . In a joint statement, Jiwa Nand Prohit and Balwinder Singh Bhatia, Founder and President of the RWM respectively said that this is clearly government’s step-motherly treatment towards a Jammu-based newspaper. They said that by stopping advertisements to the leading English daily, the State Govt. wants to suppress the voice of the paper and stop them from exposing the misdeeds of the government as well its functionaries. Meanwhile, both the leaders extended their support to the Early Times and congratulated its editor and other editorial staff for fighting the cause of Jammu as well as state at large and also made an appeal to the Jammu-based newspapers, including National daily to raise their voice against this attitude of the state information department.
