| Pangotra condemns coalition govt for harassing media | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Dec 19: One more senior leader of the J&K Panthers Party Rajesh Pangotra has lambasted the NC-Congress coalition government for what he termed as consciously choosing to victimise the media for the sole reasons that latter tends to present true picture of the things related to deliverance of governance in front of the masses.
Criticising the policies inimical to the spirit of freedom of expression and democracy, the youth leader of the Party said just like his party is boldly exposing the failures of the government, in the similar way this newspaper is trying to project the things in a bold and truthful manner which is apparently not palatable to the government and therefore it has chosen to intimidate the entire hierarchy in the newspaper on one or the other pretext.This, he said only reflects double standards of the ruling leaders who have been claiming to be champions of upholding the freedom of press and principles of democracy.
