12/19/2010 11:47:33 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Dec 19: With more and more condemnations pouring in against state government for its tactics to suppress the freedom of media, J&K Panthers Party MLA Yashpal Kundal today vehemently criticised the present dispensation making Early Times Newspaper in particular target of its designs.
In a strongly worded statement Kundal while complimenting the ET managament for not succumbing to government pressures has asked the concerned agencies to stop harrassing policies and let the media in general and this newspaper work the way it has chosen to, i.e., to highlight the scenraio where things go wrong and the loopholes in government functioing which are being resisted unncessarily by the authorities, he added. The newspapers are meant to be mirror of the society and government functioning nad things cannot be published the way government wants them to appear in front of the public, the Panthers Party leader said.
