| KV Nagtora holds Scouts and Guides camp | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, December 20: Kendriya Vidyalaya Nagrota near here organised a three-day Scouts and Guides camp for `Pratham and Dwitya’ Sopan test wherein over 150 students participated.
Out of these participants, finally 55 qualified for Pratham Sopan and 45 other declared successful for Dwitya Sopan, a handout issued by the host Vidyalaya informed here today.
The test was conducted by Guide captains, Naresh Sham, Pami Pandita, Sushma Ganju, Brij Bala and Scout Masters, Dr A K Singh, Amrik Singh and Shashi Sharma.
The valedictory of the camp was also marked by various cultural items.
Earlier, the camp was declared open by Principal of KV Nagotra, R K Shukla. Among others present were District Training Commissioner (Scouts and Guides), Nimi Koul.
Primary level workshop held: Meanwhile, a school level workshop under CMP was held at the Vidyalaya wherein teachers displayed their project-cum-models of different subjects under the guidance of officiating Headmistress, Rajni Gupta. The workshop was visited by Principal, R K Shukla, who appreciated the efforts put in by the teachers in preparing models.
