| Plus 2 lecturers express grief over demise of Prof. Jaswant Singh | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Dec 20: All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers’ Forum has expressed its deep shock and grief over the sudden and sad demise of Prof. Jaswant Singh Shaan its “Chief Patron and two times Former President”.
In its emergent meet under the Chairmanship of Mr. H.D Qureshi, the central executive of the forum observed two minutes silence and prayed to the almighty for peace to the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family to bear the ir-repairable loss.
The House remembered the marvelous contribution and sacrifices of Shaan for the betterment of Plus 2 Cadre and termed the untimely demise a great loss to the Community.
H.D Qureshi, the State President of the Forum while speaking expressed that the untimely demise of Prof. Shaan has created a vacuum in the cadres that cannot be filled easily.
Qureshi further said that the Community will remember the services of Shaan for the cadre and the present heights of Plus 2 are based on the strong foundation laid by the great leader during his entire service career.
Queshi further expressed that Shaan was having multifarious qualities in his personality being a sincere leader, and outstanding and competent teacher, a secular person and above all the admirer of humanity.
Qureshi said that it is a matter of pride and contentment that Prof. Shaan led the community two times as an elected President and upto the last moment of his life as “Chief Patron of the Forum”.
Others who spoke and paid tribute include Charan Dass and Manmeet Bali both Vice Presidents, N.S Jamwal General Secretary, Ashwani Sharma Chef Organiser, B.D Sharma District President Jammu and S. Gurcharan Singh ( Principal and Co- Chairperson of the Forum).
