| Self-employment course on poultry entrepreneurship | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Dec 20: As a part of ‘Operation Sadbhavana’a poultry entrepreneurship course of a month’s duration commenced today at Rajouri.
Twenty five unemployed youth from the Rajouri and Poonch districts participated in the course. The course was being conducted by the Advance Field Veterinary Hospital and Artillery Brigade under the aegis of the Ace of Spades Division with the active support of the State Animal Husbandry Department. Technical support for the same has also been given by the Department of Animal Nutrition, College of Veterinary Sciences, SKAUST Jammu.
In his inaugural address the station commander said that these vocational training courses conceptualized by the Ace of Spades Division would constructively engage the unemployed youth and give them an opportunity to earn a comfortable living for themselves and their families. He emphasized that the course will help in providing self employment to these unemployed youth at their doorsteps.
