| Awareness workshop for drivers held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Udhampur, Dec 20: To check the unabated violations of Motor Vehicles Rules, a two days training-cum- awareness workshop of drivers of buses, mini buses, sumo etc being operated in Mahore area was convened by Sub Divisional Magistrate, Mahore, Thakur Sher Singh.
As many as 40 drivers and 20 cleaners of various vehicles participated in the workshop.
On the occasion SDM, Mahore gave detailed deliberation on various traffic rules and importance of adhering to the rules.
Other general aspects which were discussed in the workshop includes plying of vehicle without valid documents, licenses, permit, fitness of vehicle, strict implementation of traffic rules to curbe accidents for saving precious lives etc.
The drivers were also asked to complete their required documents before Dec 25 and ply their vehicles without overloading to avoid fatal accidents.
