JKNPP condemns detaining of Chandrababu Naidu | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Dec 20: Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) has condemned the move of the government to detain Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president and former Chief Minister of Andra Pradesh Chandrababu Naidu. Addressing the media persons after his meeting with Naidu Chairman JKNPP, Prof. Bhim Singh said that arresting of such a personality is not bearable as he was just fasting in support of farmers’ demand for the past four days. Party Chairman expressed shock and anger the way the respective Central and State governments had been discriminating with the farmers throughout the country, treating them as wretched of the earth. Prof. Bhim Singh said that he had come from Jammu and Kashmir with a solidarity message of the Panthers Party to Hyderabad with a hope and trust that Dr. Manmohan Singh, the Prime Minister of India shall intervene in the situation to ensure justice with dignity to the farmers of Andhra Pradesh. Singh assured TDP leaders that he shall take up the matter with Prime Minister of India so that life of Telugu Desam Party leader, Naidu could be saved and farmers could get justice. He also met a delegation of Andhra Pradesh Panthers Party Committee headed by S.M. Bhatia.
