12/20/2010 9:40:08 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT
SAMBA, Dec 20: While government is claiming to be taking people friendly measures so that common masses do not suffer, but in Samba administration thinks vice-versa, they deliberately create sufferings for the people.
In one such decision, to the amazement of the local population administration Public Health Engineering (PHE) department, Samba has been shifted to Nandini which has caused anger in the people of Samba.
Residents were already facing the water problems and now due to the shifting of the PHE to Nandini people are finding it more difficult to register their complaints. The people are criticizing this move of the government but the deaf authorities did not pay an attention. The people also alleged that they agitated against the authorities but the authorities with the help of police force dispersed them. This has invited the annoyance of the local public towards the authorities.
It is pertinent to mention here that earlier Power Development Department (PDD) was shifted by the authorities and now this move of the government has added up to the people’s protest.
Ramesh Singh- a resident of Samba said that the people are facing many troubles due to this but the authorities seem to be in a deep slumber. He added that the authorities should shift it again in the region or they will protest to the most.
Locals said that earlier every problem could be solved due to the cooperation of the local public but now due to the distant situated department the officials could not visible the situation themselves. They added that the people have to visit Nandini to communicate with the authorities by face and the authorities would certainly delay their complaints
