EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, DEC 20: Jammu Kashmir Physiotherapist Association continued its agitation on 28th Consecutive Day at Mubarak Mandi. As announced earlier the JKPA members started preparations for Physiotherapy Camp @ Rs. 1/ - in front of Old Div. Commissioner Office Mubarak Mandi Jammu. The Camp was organized for awareness and to tell the Government the need of Physiotherapist which Government denied in earlier statements.
Due to lack of funds of JKPA and poverty gifted by the Government the Camp concluded in one day. This is the Job of Government to serve the humanity for good health but Government had shut his eyes and is in deep sleep for the people of the state. The patients gathered in large number. But due to lack of time & resources like power cut done which should not be there as Mubarak Mandi is heritage site still undue power cuts are there more than 150 patients were benefited by the camp. & government says we don’t required physiotherapy.
There were large Gathering of Patients suffering from Back Pain, Cervical Pains, Stress & other accidental injuries. Which require physiotherapy at each step of treatment and general public is suffering due to negligence of Government. Dr. Vimal Singh Quoted while talking to media “ This is the duty of the government to provide and build proper infrastructure for the people of the state who require immediate care but its shame on government that we should be working in the hospitals rather then on the road. Government might need our services but public do.”
