Father-in-law rues influential backing helping culprit to evade arrest

Jammu, Dec 20: Darshan lal the father-in-law of Suneela Kumari (name changed) has alleged that his daughter –in-law was forcefully kidnapped by a youth working in Jamkash Vehicleades, but sporting influential backing is being denied the Punishment under the law.
Darshan Lal alleged that police is working under pressure as culprit whose vehicle has been seized by police two days ago is not booked and interrogated. In a press note Darshan said that wjhile going to Katra , he came across his his daughter-in-law with a boy whom he recognizes as one of the employee of car show room driving Maruti car bearing registration number JK02K/1205.
It was alleged that duo were lodged in a room in hotel Naake on fake name posing themselves as husband and wife to the hotel staff. Darshan Lal immediately informed the police but before police conducted the raid, the boy had escaped from the spot leaving his vehicle in hotel parking.
The vehicle was seized by police, he said and alleged that both woman and the boy are working in Jamkesh Vehicleads However, the woman in her statement given to police has alleged that she was kidnapped by three un- identified youth who took her in a hotel.
Katra police referred the case to the Satwari police for further investigation as the crime of offence was committed under Satwari police jurisdiction. Darshan lal however alleged that the police has been working under pressure of some influential persons. However, when contacted the SP South Rajeshwer Singh said that investigation of the case was in progress and truth will come out soon.
