| Civil defense camp organized at GCW, Gandhi Nagar | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 21: A civil defense camp was organized by the NSS wing of Government College for Women (GCW), Gandhi Nagar here today. The members of civil defense department held a dynamic representation before the students and informed them about the ways to save the victims at the time of any mishappening.
Additional Deputy General Civil Defense Dr. Gopal Reddy was the chief guest at the occasion.
The workshop was of five days, first four days they held a theoretical session to tell the students about the rules to safeguard themselves during mishaps and today they demonstrated their events in the college. The students were informed about the first aid provided to the patients, rescue operations and fire extinguishers under the proper guidance of Deputy Divisional Warden Alok Nanda, Ram Chand and Sudarshan Saini.
All the officials of Civil Defence society were present their at the demonstration site to encourage the students for their daring deeds.
