JAMMU, December 22: The two-day annual (inter-house) sports meet of the Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) Miran Sahib got underway today at the school premises near here.
The opening day of the event witnessed finals of discuss throw and shot put in both boys and girls sections.
While in junior girls section, Reshma of Tagore house excelled, winning two gold medals, Ravinder Singh shined winning two events in senior boys’ category.

Junior girls: Discuss Throw: Reshma, Tagore, Ist; Ankita, Raman, 2nd and Diksha, Tagore, third. Shot Put: Reshma, Tagore, Ist; Shivani, Shivaji, 2nd and Tanmeet, Ashoka, third.
Senior girls: Discuss Throw: Kerat, Tagore, Ist; Harpeet, Ashoka, 2nd and Shivali, Tagore, third. Shot Put: Shivali, Tagore, Ist; Manpreet, Shivaji, 2nd and Anjali, Tagore, third.
Junior boys: Discuss Throw: Anil, Raman, Ist; Harman, Tagore, 2nd and Udhay, Shivaji, third. Shot Put: Bhaskar, Tagore, Ist; Akash, Tagore, 2nd and Aman, Shivaji, third.
