| Govt keen to provide urban facilities to rural people: Bhalla | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, DECEMBER 22-Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation, Raman Bhalla has said that Government has earmarked Rs. 29.75 lakh for construction of lanes, drains and children park at Sector-B Dilli in Sainik Colony, Sector-2 in Gangyal and Babliana adding that coalition Government is seized with peoples’ problems and is making all out efforts to provide all infrastructural facilities at par with urban pockets.
This was stated by the Minister while addressing a large gathering at Babliana, here this afternoon.
Bhalla said that Government is committed to develop every nook and corner of the three regions of the State on modern lines adding that there is no constraint of funds. He said that central Government headed by Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh has provided liberal funding to the State Government for completing the ongoing projects within stipulated time frame.
The Minister appealed the inhabitants to personally monitor the quality of ongoing development works in their localities adding that people’s participation ensures completion of projects as per the quality parameters.
