| Agriculture daily wagers hold dharna, demand regularization | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 22: To lodge their protest against the anti-employees policy of the Government, a day long mass dharna was organized by All J&K Agriculture Daily Wagers Union at Agriculture Complex Talab Tillo here today.
In the day long dharna, hundreds of DRW of different departments participated.
The protesting daily wagers demanded regularization of those employees who are engaged before or after 1994.
The J&K Daily Wager Joint Action Forum president Gurnam Slathia along with other members of the Action Forum expressed resentment over the delaying tactics of Government towards daily wagers.
The President of All J&K Agriculture Daily Wagers Union Rajan Sharma appealed the Govt. to immediate frame a policy to regularize all the DRWs engaged after 1994 as per the agreement made with JCC and EJAC to avoid the agitation.
All J&K Agriculture employees Association led by Uttam Chand Sharma President also supported the demands for regularization of DRWs.
The next programme of J&K Daily Wager Joint Action Forum shall be held in front of Chief Engineer PWD Office, Bahu Plaza Jammu on December 28.
