| Heaven Kingdom School celebrates annual day | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 22: Heaven Kingdom High School and Heaven’s Angels “A Play way school” celebrated its annual day function here today at Abhinav Theatre.
Minister of Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation Raman Bhalla was the chief guest while and Dr Sheikh Bashir Ahmed Secretary J&K Board of School Education was the guest of Honour.
The proceedings of the function began with lighting of the sacred lamp by the guest of Honour which was followed by the welcome speech by Radhika (Vice Principal of the School). The Principal or the school Renu Sachdev also welcomed the Chief guest, guest of Honour and other distinguished guests and parents.
She also highlighted the achievements f the school during the current session.
The students of the school presented various cultural items which including Saraswati Vandana, Navdurga, Patriotic Song, Qawali, Dogri Dance etc.
The ‘blessings of the elders’ was also displayed through a short play by the students. The display of action songs by small kids was really a thrilling item.
After the colourful items, the chief guest and the guest of honour gave away prizes to the children for their excellent performance in academics and cash prizes to position holders in Board Exams.
The function came to close with the singing of National Anthem.
