| BJP National Leadership is here at Jammu. In normal routine all office bearer, Chief Minister and Parliamentary Board use to meet one day before the executive meeting.
This is 1st time diversion from the practice. BJP National working committee will meet at Gauhati on 8th January 2011 to Welcome New Year and to discuss the main challenges faced by the country. 70 top leaders have assembled at Jammu. Hence Jammu is kept on high alert.
As per protocol Chief Minister and Central Leaders as per their status are treated as State Guest.
But this time they are not hereto enjoy the reception or special treatment by the state. As already said they have decided to assemble at Jammu at winter capital of Jammu & Kashmir to understand the real issue and further to focus the national intention over Jammu & Kashmir problem.
BJP have already preferred “Kashmir Challo” AKTA Yatra on 26th Jan 1992 Led by Sh. Murli Mohnar Joshi, when militancy was on its peak. Present Chief Minister of Gujarat was main organizer of programme. In the year 1994 BJP National Leaders courted arrest to draw national intention over killings in Doda Distt. & demanded that J&K area be declared as disturbed area.
It is not 1st time meet but 1st meet of its own type. In fact National Executive met at Jammu in the year 1986 when Th. Baldev Singh was President of State Unit.
National Leadership must know the J&K because we cannot draw presumption that every body must be aware about the Demography, culture, Area and discriminatory attitude of State Govt. Towards different regions on the basis of Kashmir Centric and Communal Approach.
In fact National Conference and Congress has ruled the state Since 1947. For short Span P.D.P enjoyed power. Infact Sheikh Mohd Abdulla and there after Dr. Farooq Abdulla and now Omar Abdulla represented one density instate as Chief Minister and in National Scenario Pt. Jawahar Lal Nahru there after Smt. Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi were successor ruled Centre Govt. as Prime Minister and bonds between both families started even much before partition. Undue Weight age was given by Pt. Jawahar Lal Nahru to Sheikh Mohd. Abdullah and Maharaja Hari Singh Ruler of the state was asked to leave Jammu and Kashmir
Muslim Conference was changed into National Conference without bringing any change in Policies and Approach. This Approach was followed by Congress up to maximum extent. This approach is popularly known as Kashmir Centric Approach.
27 % of Minority Kashmiri Speaking Community wants to dominate the whole Political Scenario of Jammu and Kashmir. Azadi and Pro Pak Slogans are in their interest, hence they want to keep Pot Boiling.
What Justification can be given that in the State of Jammu and Kashmir all benefits ment for minority community are extended to Majority Muslim community
Infact it is not only Kashmir centric Approach but soft approach towards fundamentalist as common man in Kashmir still suffers due to Such Policies.
Jammu and Kashmir Comprises of Three regions Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh. Jammu with 26293 Sq km area and 710 Sq km area per constituency and Kashmir has 15948 Sq km area and 348 Sq km per constituency. What to say of Ladakh with more than. 59146 Sq km area.
Road length in Jammu is 4571km comes to 0.17 per kilometer in per square kilometer. Road length in Kashmir is 7129km comes to 0.44 kilometer in per square area.
Jammu has 37 Seats for Assembly while Kashmir has 46 and 4 in Ladakh, we have kept 24 seats reserved for Pok in our constitution.
Jammu has 2 parliamentary seats 3 in Kashmir and 1 in Ladakh.
There were 5 Cabinet Ministers in Jammu upto 7th July 2008 and 14 in Kashmir. Like wise unemployment % is more in Jammu than Kashmir Jammu has big army of unemployed youth upto 69.7% while in Kashmir it is 29.3%.
In Jammu Daily Wager PHE Employee gets Rs.500/- per month and in Kashmir the same daily wager gets Rs.2100/- per month. Jammu covers 90 lac tourist per year while 5 lac visit in Kashmir.
In 2002 voters in Jammu were 3106114 and total number of voter is Kashmir were 2884842. In the year 2008 official figure says Jammu has 3084417 and voter in Kashmir were 3260663 i.e. 21697 number was decreased in Jammu from 2002 to 2008 and 375821 voter increased in Kashmir is totally wrong figures.
Whether BJP meet at Jammu will try to find answer to the existing problem, because all are hopeful that a policy to focus J&K issue will be the out come of this meet.
BJP favour abrogation of 370 and consider accession as complete. On the other hand Umar Abdulla has tried to unsettle the settled issue about accession. He has said that accession was conditional and no merger has taken place with India.
His statement was also endorsed by S.M. Krishna foreign Minister of India and Home Minister P. Chidanbram.
There are more than 13 lacs refugees migrated from West Pakistan and POK and more than 4 lacs migrant are still waiting for their respectful return to valley. The refugees were not given right to vote in state assembly and it is total violation of their fundamental right but the state government remained as silent spectators. Whether national leadership of BJP will find and answer to the above issues?
