| Hideout busted in Basantgarh, cache recovered | | |
JAMMU NOV-06- Security Forces busted a hide out in Basantgarh area and recovered a cache including three kg of explosive material, while some unknown militants set ablaze a residential house in Ramban area.
A Police spokesman said that 12 RR launched a search operation in the general area of Adhback Chantoo forests in Basantgarh area of Udhampur district and busted a militants’ hide out.
During search, one 12- bore single barrel rifle along with six rounds, 15 rounds of AK 47 12 .303m rifle rounds and three kilogram of explosive material was recovered from the hideout.
The spokesman said that during the intervening night of 4-5 November, some unknown militants set ablaze the residential house of one Noor Jamwal son of Keema Gujjar at Lancha. A case in this regard has been registered at Police Station Gool.
