| Army Jawan assaulted succumbs, accused arrested | | |
JAMMU NOV-06- Army Jawan assaulted at Kana Chak and admitted in Military Hospital Udhampur on October 15 last succumbed to his injuries .The alleged accused has been arrested today.
According to the reports one Havaldar Mohinder Singh NO 3388312/ex-157 BN /TA who was assaulted by some miscreants at Kana Chak was evacuated to Military Hospital Udhampur on October 15 last but succumbed to his injuries today. His body was brought to GMC Jammu for postmortem.
According to the reports, one Sham Lal of Laliyal village is reported to have assaulted the Havildar with a sharp edged weapon causing serious injuries on his head. After committing the crime, the accused was absconding since then though the local police had launched a hunt to nab him. After hectic efforts, the alleged accused has been apprehended today from his house and a case registered in the Police station
