Servant held from Mumbai with stolen property

Jammu: A Link Road family's servant, who had decamped with cash and diamond jewellery worth lakhs few days back, has been arrested by police from Mumbai. The stolen cash and jewellery had also been recovered from him, SP (city) Randeep Singh said.
Mohit Oswal of Link Road had lodged a report with Pucca Danga police station that his servant Vikram Singh, son of Tej Bahadur Singh of Uttar Pradesh, had decamped with cash and diamond jewellery worth Rs 2 lakh.
Acting on his complaint, a special police team was constituted under the supervision of DSP SS Sambyal. Nagrota police station SHO, Inspector Parvez Sajjad was made the team head. Randeep said when the police team raided Vikram's house in UP, it
came to know that he was hiding in his relative's house in Mumbai. The team then raided his relative's house in Mumbai and arrested him. The stolen property was also recovered from him, the SP added. He was brought to Jammu and booked under sections 454 and 381 of RPC.
