| Schools celebrate Christmas with delight | | | Early Times Report
Jammu Dec 24 MV International School celebrated Christmas festival with lots of fun and frolic today at the school campus to mark the birthday of Jesus Chirst. The Chairman of the School Mr. H.L. Abrol and the Director Gourav Abrol graced the occasion and were given a cordial welcome by the school children and the staff. The children of the school celebrated Christmas with lots of gaiety and enthusiasm. Children had decorated the whole school with vigour and vitality. The Christmas tree was very beautifully decorated with lights, balloons, bells, buntings, stars, gifts and sweets etc. small children were attired as Santa clause and fairies and Santa clause distributed sweets amongst children. Children performed the cultural fest with great excitement. There were stalls with games, food which were enjoyed alike both by the students and teachers of the school.
Shri Sai Gurukul School too celebrated Christmas today in school premises. School children on the occasion wearing fancy dresses displayed cultural programme on the life of Jesus Christ. Speaking on the occasion, Chairperson of the school. Anu Gupta asked the children to follow the preaching of Jesus Christ of love, human brotherhood and peace. She said that Christ was crucified for preaching love, peace and brotherhood among human beings. His sacrifice is remembered by the people all over the world.
To mark the birth of Jesus, Dogra secondary Schoolcelebrated the Christmas today in the school premises under the supervision of Gambhir Dev Singh Charak, Principal. The students presented Colorful program presenting small skits, pomes and cultural items etc. small but impressive scenes on the file of Jesus Christ were presented. Small kids of preprimary classes presented jingle bell song which appreciated by the audience present there.
The principal in the brief speech asked one and all to spread the message Jesus Christ who laid his life for truth, peace and love to eradicate the miseries of life. The program – I was presented by the students under the guidance of Sanjay Lalathia and Sheetal Basotra.
JK Montessorie School organized inter school competitions to mark celebration of Birthday of Jesus Christ- the Christmas- Day. A large number of schools were also cordially invited for participation in various competitions which include- drawing and painting competitions, clay mounding competition and calligraphy completion.
Christmas function was celebrated at the “Little Champs play way School, New Plots” with fervors enthusiasm and joy. Kids came in fancy dresses matching the occasion, and danced to the tune of the song, Jingle Bells. Santa distributed gifts and candies to the children.
The school Principal Sonal Abrol congratulated everybody and wished them Merry Christmas and a very Happy NEW YEAR’. Vinay Abrol, THE School Chair Person wished the students and advised them to work hard to serve their parents and country.
Global Convent Channi Rama celebrated Christmas with great enthusiasms and Zeal. Sweets were distributed among the children staff helped the children in decorating the Christmas tree, which was place in the school ground. Management wished the staff& students,’ the merry Christmas.
Christmas Day was celibrated by May Fair groups of Institutions at its main branch chand Nagar as well as its branch at Janipur, Jammu with great pump and show, students were dressed s Santa Clause and they distributed the sweets among the children.

Tiny Scholars high school celebrated Christmas day and New Year-2011 with pomp and show today. The function was started with lightening of lamp by Principal Manisha Gupta and all teachers of the school. Function was started with the song “Jingle well” performed by nursery wing BACHPAN students. In the end Principal Manisha Gupta congrats all the teachers and students for their best efforts and said MARRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR-2011 to parents, staff and students presents on the occasion.
IPS Kidzee kathua tool held a delightful celebration on the eve of Chritsmas Day in the premises of the school here at kathua. On this occasion X-MAX trees were adorned colorfully with stars, bells, gifts and etc.

An inter college antakshri was organized by the pupil of teachers of Bhagat Kabir College of Education in collaboration of their counterparts of Baba Farid College of Education kathua in connection with celebration of Christmas and welcome to New Year director of College , Dr. Ram Murti Sharma was the chief guest.
To mark the occasion of Christmas, Magic Years School once again does something
Unique for the Tiny Tots of the school. The school conducted one whole week of
fun filled activities for the children where in the children were exposed to different
fields of life. The week ended with a Christmas party which the children enjoyed
thoroughly.
