| Bandral appointed President NSUI Govt Polytechnic | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Dec 24: National Students Union of India (NSUI) declared its unit for Government Polytechnic, Bikram Chowk here today.
Rattan Bandral has been appointed as President while others who were nominated include Gurjeet Singh as senior vice-President, Sachin Sanwal as vice President Rahul Chib as general secretary and Vinod as spokesperson.
In addition to this a 25-member executive committee was announced. The appointments in this regard were made in the college by incharge general secretary Arjun Singh Pathania in consultation with city president Abhimanyu Jamwal and approval of state president Abdul Rashid Choudhary. Earlier, in the morning, NSUI team led by Arjun Singh Pathania and Abhimanyu Jamwal went to the college and announced the unit. Supporters of college President garlanded him and hold a rally in the college premises.
Addressing the gathering, Pathania congratulated the newly made unit and appealed all of them to strengthen secularism and infuse patriotism in the college. He appealed newly appointed committee to work and strengthen organisation. Advocating NSUI ideology, he said that strengthening a patriotic organization like NSUI is equal to serve and strengthen the nation.
