| Multi lingual Mahila Kavi Sammelan organised | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JammuDec 24: Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages organized Multilingual Mahila Kavi Sammelan today at KL Saigal Hall, Academy Complex, Jammu. Ashok Angurana, Principal Secretary , P.H.E Irrigation and Flood Control Department was the Chief Guest and While Prof. Rita Jitendra former Secretary, Cultural Academy presided over.
Speaking on the occasion, Ashok Angurana congratulated the participating poets, writers, Academy staff and the distinguished gurests while complimenting the participating poets especially the younger generation he said that this literature being written in the region represented all regional culture and the poetry presented in this Kavi Sammelan have its worth meritorious reflection.
He also appreciated the young poets who recited their poems and expressed hope that the Academy will continue this process of talent hunt so chat new generation can be placed on the right track and right direction.
While delivering presidential address, Prof. Rita Jitendra said that Academy is doing commendable job to promote and encourage the literature being written in the region of various regional and national languages. She said that besides the routine scheduled of activities, the Cultural Academy organizing the special functions which gas creted new atmosphere of brother hood and striengthening the intercultural and multilingual relations.
