Senior People’s Democratic Party (PDP) leader S. Rangil Singh, M.S Tariq and Dhaman Bhasin, addressed public meetings at Doda and Batote here the other day.
Speaking on the occasion leaders hailed the decision of the central government for deputing Mufti Mohd. Sayeed to the UNO to brief the works body about the vexed problems of Kashmir. They said that both India and Pakistan have fought three wars but nothing could be achieved. They stated self rule within the frame work of Indian Constitution, as is being projected by Mufti Sayeed, is the only solution. The leaders further said that if someone is having any other solution to the Kashmir problem than the self rule, he is at liberty to project the same. They further stated that state is witnessing overall development in all sectors during the four years rule of coalition regime, in which PDP is one of the major partners.
