| VOJ presents challan against Patwari, tout | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec: 24 (JNF):- State Vigilance Organization Jammu today presented challan in the court of Special Judge Anticorruption against Ganesh Pal Sharma Patwari and his `tout’ Balwant Raj who were caught red-handed on December 12, 2010 while taking bribe money of 3000 from the complainant for process the paper of the complainant regarding land.
According to the challan that Simrat Singh S/o Capt. Gurmukh Singh R/o Village Gokle Chack, Ramgarh lodged a written complaint in P/S VOJ alleging therein that the two files were pending with the accused Patwari, one for entry of Virasat Intaqal in the revenue records of land situated at Village Gokle Chack, Ramgarh and the issuance of income certificate. However, despite repeated requests concerned Patwari did not process the files and demanded Rs.3000/- as gratification from the complainant. After completion of the investigation VOJ today presented challan in the Court of Special Judge Anticorruption Jammu. JNF
