| Denial of advertisements to ET murder of democracy: Rashid | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 24: President Kashmir Press Association Rashid Rahi has criticized the NC led coalition government for adopting a discriminatory approach towards Early Times newspaper.
He termed the government action as highly deplorable and unethical. It is not only surprising but questionable that government continues to gag press in this era when it is only media which is exposing the wrong doings and loopholes in the functioning and deliverance of governance world over in order to bring transparency and order in the public life.
In a statement issued today, Rashid said such tactics of selective discrimination and harassment at various levels against ET will not stop the bold voice of Jammu which is presenting the news in an unbiased manner. It can simply be termed as the murder of democracy. |
