| Eminent political, social activists join PDP | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Dec 25: Eminent political and social activists under the leadership of Narinder Singh Raina today joined Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the presence of senior party leaders.
Prominent among those who joined PDP today included Dig Vijay Singh, Devinder Singh Jamwal of Talab Tillo, Mohinderjit Singh of Nanak Nagar, Harvinder Singh of Rampura, Capt Anil Gour of Gandhi Nagar, Ramesh Singh Jasrotia of Subash Nagar and Yashpal Singh of Nanak Nagar.
All the leaders expressed faith in the leadership of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and Mehbooba Mufti.
Speaking on the occasion, Narinder Singh Raina, a prominent political activist expressed full faith in the leadership of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
He said that they have already worked under the dynamic leadership of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
He termed Mufti Sayeed as visionary leader who has pioneered and implemented the agenda of peace and development in the State.
Recalling three year tenure of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, Raina said that it was only during Mufti’s regime that equal treatment was given to all regions and sub-regions of the State. He especially mentioned that there was total transparency and accountability in the administration and governance during Mufti’s regime. He said that Mufti led government had carved out a path of equitable development but the present regime has failed to carry forward the same agenda.
Taking a dig at present dispensation headed by Omar Abdullah, Raina said that this regime has revered the process of peace and development. He said that during the last two years, alienation of the people has been increased.
